Monster Quiz at Rossa Park Margherafelt

As part of the festival weekend at Magherafelt from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th May inclusive, they are holding a monster table quiz in the luxury marquee on the Friday night, 24th May, 8.30pm.
Our club/area is very welcome to enter a team(s) for what promises to be the quiz of all quizzes with £500 in prizes for the lucky winners.
They would be extremely grateful if you could display the attached information sheet in your club rooms or even contact any of your local quiz enthusiasts whom you feel would like to take part.
In addition, everyone is very welcome to attend any of the events over the course of our festival weekend.
Opportunity to play recreational GAA

If anyone is interested in playing some recreational GAA next Wednesday evening (15th May) at Owenbeg can you let Ashleen Mc Caul know. She needs 12 players, at least four females and eight males.Each player will receive a voucher for playing. It should be an evening of fun and will not be taking too seriously. This project is aimed at participants who have maybe never played Gaelic before or who have played in the past and is no longer playing.
Also it does not matter if you are a member of the GAA or not.
The evening will consist of playing one or two games - one half Gaelic Football and one half Hurling / Camogie.

Derry GAA Open Night – NOT TO BE MISSED!

Derry GAA invites children (of all ages) and families to ‘Open Night’ 2013 being held at Owenbeg Derry GAA Centre on Friday 10th May at 7pm.
Bring your jerseys, balls, hurls, posters to get signed by Derry players at the event which includes:
Access all areas tour of the player training facilities at Owenbeg
Put your questions to the players in a Q & A session
On-pitch skills sessions (weather permitting)
Free entry into a draw where one lucky winner will get to lead the Derry senior footballers out against Down in the Ulster championship at Celtic Park (primary school children only)
