The latest pair of contestants to be interviewed in this years jigs and reels was Joe Fullen and Geraldine Mc Guckin.
First interviewed was Joe. Here is what he had to say:
Joe, why did you join this years jigs and reels?
“Seen how Gerry got on last year. After watching him I thought I could come back out of retirement. His fancy footwork inspired me.”
How would you best describe your partner?
“Dedicated and eager to learn. Wants to give a good performance.”
Chances of winning?
“Haven’t even considered winning. Getting to the finish line would be good enough for me.”
Next interviewed was Geraldine Mc Guckin, and this is what she had to say:
Geraldine, why did you join this years jigs and reels?
“Gerard Mc Guigan highly recommended it and I though it would be very good for my career prospects.”
How would you best describe your partner?
“SAFE! Not very daring..”
Chances of winning?
“We’ll give it our best shot. Wouldn’t want to let him down after all his hard work.”
