Victor’s Dung

The Moth productions in association with the GAA Social Initiative, Calor Gas and Moneymore GAC present Victor’s Dung. Written, directed by and starring award winning actor and former Co. Leitrim footballer Seamus O’Rourke. Victor’s Dung is the comic tale of Victor Maguire (played by O’Rourke RTE Best Actor 2010) a crude un-PC Cavan farmer. Set in a farmyard complete with dung heap, the play takes the audience on a whirlwind tour through Victor’s sad and somewhat unconventional life, meeting up with many a strange bucko along the way. Victor’s Dung is hilarious, as a comedy it is way up there. The production the set and the actors are top class. Seamus O’Rourkes presentation is fabulous and he manages to knit in some serious and thought provoking themes into a marvellously funny show. The idea of getting local people on the stage before the performance is tremendous and we are sure it will be very well received. The show will be supported by a short sketch by performers from Moneymore GAC. The play is in the Burnavon Theatre Cookstown on Sunday 22nd April at 8pm. Keep this date free in your diary. Tickets are £12.50 and can be obtained directly from the Burnavon 028 8676 9949 on-line at http://www.burnavon.com/theatre/whats-on/ or from Roddy 07879 338500
