A windy Wednesday night at Longfield saw the reserves take on Banagher
in the league.
Aided by a very strong wind Banagher ended the first
half with a 3 point lead. However, some good scores from the Martin's
forwards keep the game within touch.
The second half saw Desertmartin
play with the wind and they soon capitalised on it gaining the lead for
the first time in the game with Johnny Trainor clipping the keeper from
a Banagher kick out to score the only goal of the game.
However the
Martin's would only score one more point in the remainder of the game.
Banagher, digging in, pulled the game back and scored a point with only
minutes to go to secure the draw.
