Following their successful Feile semi final result against Newbridge on a score line of 2.04 to 1.02 at the weekend, our under 14's maintained their good form with a win on Monday night over a very strong and powerful Craigbane team in the opening league game of the season.
With the game all square at the break on a score line of 1.01 to 0.04,
it was the north Derry side who came out in the second half looking the
brighter clocking up a 4 point lead. It was at this point the true
character of this team came through and with this step up in
performance saw a turn around of 8 point from then to the final whistle
seeing the Martin's winning the game on a score line of Desertmartin
2.08 Craigbane 1.07
