The Patrick Higgins Shield was played
on Saturday last at St. Martin's GAC, Desertmartin.
Teams from Glen, Magherafelt, Lavey, Ballinascreen, Newbridge , Slaughtneil and Desertmartin
took part. Slaughtneil and Lavey met in the Final which went to extra time with Lavey victors winning on an eight point margin. The shield was presented to the Lavey captain Hugh McGurk, by Derry senior manager Paddy Crozier.
The Club would like to thank all those who took part and especially to the Higgins family for their help and support.
