The next Under 12 game is on Saturday 12.00 at Lavey all players to be at Longfield 11.00am.
Only one team in Desertmartin has so far gone unbeaten in all competitive games this year that is our under 12 team. On Wednesday night they took a big stride towards winning the under 12 B title with a great win against a fairly strong Kilrea team. Unfortunately I was not in attendance so I can?t provide all the details but I have saw the team playing a number of times this year and have been very impressed. This win on Wednesday night qualifies the team for the Under 12 playoff which has been pencilled in for Saturday 9th September against Ballinascreen venue and time to be confirmed.
With a number of the players having already experienced the thrill of success with the Under 14? s they now have a chance to add to that success with what I believe would be a first Under 12 B Title for the club.
Backboned by players like Connor Murray, Dermot Breen, Dermot McGuigan, Mark Fullen, Luke McBride, Dermot McGuigan, Ronan McGuckan, Darren Madden the team at this stage need all the support we can provide. They play their last league game on Saturday at Lavey 12.00 before the play off on Saturday 9th all support welcome
